The clash between Brighton and Arsenal is approaching. The two managers have unveiled their official lineups for this matchday-five encounter in the Premier League, scheduled for 3:00 p.m. this Saturday at the American Express Stadium.

Jaouen Hadjam returns to the bench after his assist at Old Trafford

Jaouen Hadjam will have to wait for his first Premier League start. The Algeria international starts on the bench, three days after starting against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup.

On his Brighton debut, the 23-year-old left-back provided an assist for Charalampos Kostoulas during the Seagulls’ spectacular 3-2 victory at Old Trafford. He then left the pitch in the 74th minute while limping. His injury had raised concerns ahead of Algeria’s camp, but his presence among the substitutes this Saturday confirms that he is available.

Arsenal won both Premier League meetings last season

The Gunners came out on top in both league meetings in 2025-2026. Arsenal first secured a 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium on 27 December 2025, before winning 1-0 at Brighton on 4 March 2026.

Brighton will therefore try to end this run against the reigning English champions, while Arsenal are aiming for a fifth win in five matchdays to continue their perfect start to the season.
