CAF Champions League: free entry for Sundowns fans against Espérance!

The South African football club Mamelodi Sundowns announced on Monday, March 24, that their stadium "Loftus Versfeld" will be open for free during their upcoming clash against Espérance Sportive de Tunis, as part of the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals for the 2025/2024 season.

The Sundowns club released an official statement on their social media pages, specifying that fans can attend the match for free, provided they wear the club's yellow color, allowing them free access to the stadium.

It's the Masandawana April Fools' Special – and no, it's not a joke! 😏 We're opening the gates for FREE to face Espérance in the #TotalEnergiesCAFCL! 💥
The duel between Sundowns and Espérance will be repeated after the latter eliminated Sundowns in the semi-finals of the last edition of the CAF Champions League, with victories in both legs (1-0).
It should be noted that if Sundowns qualifies for the semi-finals, they will face the winner of the match between Espérance and Mamelodi Sundowns, who will then meet the winner of the match between Al Hilal from Sudan and Al Ahly from Egypt.
