CAF Champions League: Vipers SC reach the second preliminary round

Uganda's Vipers SC have secured their place in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League after a 1-0 victory against Namibia’s African Stars.

The Venoms had already taken a 1-0 lead from the first leg thanks to Hillary Mukundane, and they finished the tie with a 2-0 aggregate win. The hero of the match was Yunus Sentamu, who netted the decisive goal in the 63rd minute, capitalizing on a defensive error to slot the ball into an empty net.

Vipers will now face the winner of the Power Dynamos (Zambia) vs. ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast) clash for a place in the group stage.
