CAF Confederation Cup final: Which channel is broadcasting Simba vs RS Berkane?
African football fans will have their eyes glued this Sunday, May 25, to the grand CAF Confederation Cup final, pitting Renaissance Sportive de Berkane against Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
The Moroccan side heads to the Amaan International Stadium in Zanzibar holding a clear advantage, having secured a 2-0 victory in the first leg.
Backed by a passionate home crowd, Simba will attempt a challenging but not impossible comeback, relying on the energy of their supporters to turn the tie around.
In the pre-match press conference, RS Berkane coach Moein Chaâbani appeared confident in his squad’s mental preparation:
“We are used to this kind of pressure. My team is solid, experienced, and determined to bring the trophy back to Morocco, even though it won’t be an easy mission,” he stated.
The former Espérance de Tunis manager also emphasized that their opponent now has nothing to lose and that the first-leg score, while favorable, guarantees nothing:
“The 2-0 win in the first leg is a good result, but it’s not decisive.”
Chaâbani concluded by discussing the club’s ambitions for next season:
“RS Berkane will be competing in the Champions League, and we want to cap off this continental campaign with a new title, which would be the third in our history.”
