CAN 2025: Algeria’s full group stage schedule
The draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco, has placed the team in a group alongside Sudan, Burkina Faso, and Equatorial Guinea.
Fennecs supporters are eagerly awaiting their team's matches, as Algeria stands among the leading contenders for the continental crown. Algeria will rely on its star-studded squad, including Riyad Mahrez, the Ittihad Jeddah winger, and Mohamed Amine Amoura, the Wolfsburg striker, as well as a roster that blends experience with technical prowess.
CAN 2025 will run from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, featuring 24 participating teams.
The team, led by Swiss coach Vladimir Petkovic, will kick off its campaign against Sudan, then face Burkina Faso, before wrapping up the group stage with a clash against Equatorial Guinea.

Last night, the FAF officially released the Fennecs’ group stage schedule for CAN 2025:
- December 24, 2025: Sudan × Algeria (15:00 GMT)
- December 28, 2025: Burkina Faso × Algeria (17:30 GMT)
- December 31, 2025: Algeria × Equatorial Guinea (16:00 GMT)
