The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final between Senegal and Morocco ended in a tense atmosphere, marked by rare protests at this level. Reacting to the events, Gianni Infantino did not mince his words:

"We strongly condemn the behavior (...) of some Senegalese players and members of the technical staff. It is unacceptable to leave the field in such a manner."
