CAN U20 - 2025: Egypt's complete schedule for the first round!

The draw for the final phase of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations, conducted yesterday, Sunday, placed Egypt in Group A.

The "Pharaohs" will compete alongside South Africa, Sierra Leone, Zambia, and Tanzania in this first round.

The Egyptian team hopes to have a strong run and go as far as possible in the tournament, with the ambition of clinching the title, relying notably on home advantage and public support. As a reminder, Egypt is hosting this edition after the withdrawal of Ivory Coast, which was initially set to be the host country.

Group B, meanwhile, includes Nigeria, Tunisia, Kenya, and Morocco.

Senegal, the defending champion, has been drawn into Group C, alongside the Central African Republic, DR Congo, and Ghana.

The top two from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals.
