Mamelodi Sundowns are now just 4 points away from being crowned inaugural Betway Premiership champions after dominant 3 - 0 win over Chippa United on Wednesday night.

Clinical Sundowns Punish Chippa

At Loftus Versfeld, goals from Iqraam Rayners, Jayden Adams and Thapelo Maseko sealed the deal as Sundowns restored their 12 point lead at the top of the table with 64 point from 25 match.

Rayners opened the scoring with simple tap in after brilliant run and cross from Khuliso Mudau while Adams took advantage of major blunder by Chippa goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali to double the lead before halftime.

Title Within Reach

The Brazilians now need win over Stellenbosch FC this weekend and at least draw against Chippa again next week to secure the title , their 8th consecutive domestic league triumph , a record run in South African football.
