It's now official: Nayef Aguerd will miss the highly anticipated clash between OM and Newcastle tomorrow in the Champions League at the Orange Vélodrome.

Just moments ago, there was still hope, but the bad news has now been confirmed for Olympique de Marseille and Nayef Aguerd. As expected, the Moroccan defender, who is struggling with a groin injury, will not be available to take on Newcastle in tomorrow's Champions League showdown.

"No, Nayef will not be available tomorrow. Not with five, seven, or even ten at the back," Roberto De Zerbi announced at Monday's press conference.
