Chaos in Green: Raja Fans Erupt Over Mismanagement, Threaten Mass Boycott
Raja Casablanca's facing growing unrest among its supporters as fan anger reaches boiling point over what has been described as "organizational humiliation" & "disregard for fan rights"
Ahead of their Botola Pro round 27 match against Hassania Agadir, large number of Raja fans have vowed to boycott the fixture in protest. This's the latest episode in turbulent season both on and off the pitch for the green eagles.
Tensions Fueled by Poor Management
Raja’s administrative instability's only worsened the situation. The club's already seen two different presidents this season (Adil Hala & Abdellah Bairouine) , without any signs of concrete improvement or vision for recovery. Fans have been critical of what they perceive as chaotic and unprofessional leadership.
The Trigger: Ticket Collection Policy
The spark that reignited the protests was recent club decision requiring season ticket holders to personally collect match tickets at specific locations during limited hours coinciding with standard working and school schedules.
The move was met with fierce backlash. Supporters called the directive "arbitrary" & "provocative" arguing that season ticket holders paid in advance precisely to avoid such logistical hurdles.
Escalating to Full Boycott
What started as online frustration has now spilled into wider movement. Fans are calling for collective boycott of the next home game , a scene reminiscent of the near empty stands during the recent Casablanca Derby, also marred by fan discontent.
The club now risks not only empty seats but also deeper rifts with its most loyal supporters.
