Today, reports from London indicate that Chelsea is keen to make fresh attempts to sign the La Masia graduate, who is currently enjoying a strong run at Barcelona as one of Hansi Flick’s preferred options in the first team. Furthermore, building on the interest shown last season, reports indicate that Xabi Alonso wants to sign the player and bring him to London, and Chelsea is prepared to pay €120 million.

Chelsea is prepared to pay a large sum for Lopez

Chelsea are preparing to make a major splash in the January transfer window after reports emerged that they are interested in signing Barcelona’s young star Fermín López in what could become one of the biggest deals in the club’s history.

According to reports, manager Xabi Alonso is personally pushing for the move and sees López as a strong addition to Chelsea’s midfield thanks to his technical ability, attacking presence and character on the pitch.
