Chelsea: Maresca responds to Mohammed Kudus rumours

Mohammed Kudus has emerged as a target for Chelsea. The London club has reportedly submitted an initial offer to West Ham to secure the services of the Ghanaian attacking midfielder.

Currently competing at the Club World Cup in the United States, Enzo Maresca was asked about this potential move. The Italian Blues manager remained tight-lipped:

He is a West Ham player, so I can't say anything. The only thing I can say is that I have known Kudus since his time at Ajax.

Kudus, 24, has shone this season with the Hammers. A goal scorer, creator, and a constant threat, he has impressed in the Premier League. His versatility appeals to Maresca, who is seeking reinforcements in attack. As for West Ham, the club has yet to make an official statement but is unlikely to let him go on the cheap.
