Club World Cup 2025: PSG 3-0 Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a breathtaking performance against Real Madrid in the first half of this Club World Cup 2025 semi-final. The Parisians lead 3-0 at the break thanks to a brace from Fabian Ruiz and a goal by Ousmane Dembélé.

This match, played at MetLife Stadium on Wednesday, July 9, turned into a nightmare for Xabi Alonso’s men in the opening half. The European champions set the tone from the very first minutes against a disorganized Real Madrid, who fell victim to relentless pressing.

Paris Saint-Germain strike hard from the outset

The opening goal of this highly anticipated clash came from Fabian Ruiz in the 6th minute, capitalizing perfectly on a high turnover. Just three minutes later, Ousmane Dembélé—instrumental in the opener—took advantage of a defensive lapse to double the lead (2-0).

Before the half-hour mark, the Parisians pushed Real Madrid even further. Set up by the Dembélé-Hakimi duo down the right and through the center, Fabian Ruiz finished with a low, angled strike to complete his brace and make it 3-0.
