Cristiano Jr makes his first steps with Portugal (Video)

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, now known as Cristiano Dos Santos, experienced a memorable day this Tuesday as he made his debut for Portugal's U15 team during the Vlatko Markovic international tournament held in Croatia.

At just 14 years old and currently playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia—just like his famous father—the young forward came on in the 53rd minute of the match against Japan. Wearing the iconic number 7, he didn't get on the scoresheet but contributed to a comfortable Seleção victory (4-1). Video:

"Proud of you, son"

Trained in the youth academies of Manchester United and Juventus, Cristiano Jr is following in his father's footsteps—24 years after the elder Ronaldo's own international debut:

"Congratulations on your debut with Portugal, my son. So proud of you!" Cristiano Ronaldo shared on social media.

The idea of one day playing together has already been mentioned by CR7's son. "Inshallah, I hope so," Cristiano Jr said in a 2023 video with MrBeast.

His father still holds on to that dream: "I wish for it. It’s not an obsession, but it would be wonderful," he confided last February.
