Cristiano Ronaldo addressed the media ahead of Portugal’s UEFA Nations league final clash against Spain sharing thoughts on his career, legacy and rising stars in world football.
Ronaldo acknowledged the pressure of title expectations, stating:
"You can’t win everything. That’s football but I believe we can win the trophy tomorrow"..
On Lamine Yamal: "Let Him Grow"
Al Nassr striker urged media and fans to ease pressure on Spain’s teenage prodigy Lamine Yamal:
"He’s doing well. Let the kid grow. Don’t overload him. Let him enjoy his game"
When asked for advice to the youngster, Ronaldo smiled:
"Advice should be private not broadcasted. If he wants it he knows where to find me"

Ronaldo spoke warmly about longtime rival Lionel Messi saying:

Discussing the 2025 Ballon d'or, Ronaldo didn’t name favorite but mentioned several top candidates including Mabppe, Dembele, Vitinha and Yamal.
"Whoever wins the Champions league should get the Ballon d'or. But the award has lost its true meaning , you don’t always know what goes on behind the scenes"
As for his retirement:
"I take it day by day. I still enjoy the game. The end will come when I feel it’s time"
No Club World Cup for CR7
Ronaldo confirmed he won’t participate in the 2025 Club World cup in the U.S, despite reported invitations and hopes from fifa President Gianni Infantino:
"It’s not the right time. There were contacts, yes but the decision's final , I won’t be part of the tournament"
