Good news for David Mukuna. The Belgian striker of Congolese descent has extended his contract with Gent until June 2026. The Flemish club made the announcement official via Instagram.

After a successful loan spell at KRC Gent, Mukuna returns with eye-catching stats: 22 goals in 29 matches in the 2de Nationale VV A. His sharp finishing hasn't gone unnoticed. His full name? David Honoré Mukuna Trouet. A powerful, mobile forward with a natural striker's instinct.

He rejoins Jong KAA Gent, the club's reserve team. For now, at least. The first-team coaching staff is keeping a close eye on his progress, as he waits for his chance to break into the senior squad.
