Orlando Pirates moved to the summit of the Dstv Diski Challenge [DDC] table after claiming a 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy on Saturday.

The Buccaneers made it three wins in a row, with 10 points accumulated from four league outings after the latest win at UJ Soweto Campus.

Like Pirates, AmaZulu clinched three wins on the trot as they beat defending champions Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at Wits Sturrock Park on Sunday to go up to second.

For Amakhosi, the defeat saw them lose back-to-back matches and dropped to eighth place with six points on the reserve league standings.

Meanwhile, Richards Bay edged Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 at Tuks Stadium and are currently fixated in third place with nine points as Masandawana round up the top four.

In the middle of the pack, Sekhukhune United secured a 2-0 win over Polokwane City in the Limpopo derby. Babina Noko moved to fifth place.

Elsewhere, Siwelele FC registered their first win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC to move away from 14th place.

Newly promoted Durban City thrashed Magesi FC 5-0 for their maiden win of the campaign as the Limpopo side remains winless.

On the other hand, Orbit College beat Golden Arrows 2-1, while Marumo Gallants claimed a 3-2 victory against Chippa United.
