Yet, Mohamed Salah is having a remarkable season in the Premier League. With 32 goals and 23 assists in 46 matches, he has led Liverpool to the top of the English championship. But that wasn't enough to convince Regragui to place him at the top of his ranking.

Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembélé is shining this season with PSG. He has been instrumental in his team's qualification for the Champions League semi-final. With 32 goals and 11 assists in 42 matches, he totals 43 decisive contributions. Performances that impressed Regragui to the point of calling him the "best player in the world currently."

Regragui sets his conditions for staying with Morocco!

Additionally, Walid Regragui confirmed that he is under contract with the Moroccan national team until the 2026 World Cup. However, he also stated that his future depends on the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

He declared that if he fails to win the CAN 2025, scheduled in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, he would end his tenure as the head of the Atlas Lions.
