On Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Pavillon Gabriel in Paris, Désiré Doué was crowned Ligue 1's best young player at the UNFP Awards. The Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder was shortlisted alongside Morocco's Eliesse Ben Seghir (AS Monaco), Ayyoub Bouaddi (LOSC), Andrey Santos (Strasbourg), and Joao Neves (PSG).
Signed from Stade Rennais for €50 million, he quickly made his mark under Luis Enrique’s management. Throughout the 2024/2025 campaign, the young French talent showcased remarkable maturity at the heart of Paris Saint-Germain’s play. Doué featured in 50 matches across all competitions, tallying 13 goals and 13 assists, including 3 in the UEFA Champions League.
