Details reveal that the sale of Barcelona star could include a €28m buy-back option
After finding no place in Hans Flick's first-team squad, La Masia's Spaniard Ansu Fati seems to have made a final decision to leave the club and find a new experience away from the Catalan club's walls.
Ansu Fati is expected to leave the Catalan club on Wednesday in a final sale, and reports have revealed that Barcelona want to put a buy-back clause in the deal to ensure that the player can be bought back at a favourable price for the Catalan club.
Monaco are the club the young star is set to move to
According to reports, AS Monaco are the club closest to finalising a deal for Barcelona's Ansu Fati, with the deal set to be finalised in the next few days after a season in which the Catalan side achieved a well-deserved domestic treble.
The move is expected to be a loan move initially, after which Monaco will be able to buy the player's contract in 2026.
Barcelona are expected to have a buy-back clause following the player's move to Monaco this summer.
According to press reports close to the Catalan club, the cost of buying back the player in the future will not exceed €28 million.
