Diadié Samassékou leaves Hoffenheim

The German adventure has come to an end for Diadié Samassékou. After six seasons with TSG Hoffenheim, the Malian midfielder announced his departure on Instagram, expressing his gratitude to the club and its fans for their unwavering support.

Arriving in 2019 from RB Salzburg, Diadié Samassékou was signed for around 12 million euros. He quickly established himself as a key figure in the Bundesliga team's midfield. Combative, technically gifted and tireless, he embodies the modern midfield profile. However, recent seasons have proven more challenging, particularly due to injuries.

This year, the 29-year-old midfielder featured in just 10 matches before being sidelined by a muscle injury. Nevertheless, his leadership in the dressing room and unwavering commitment remained exemplary. Now out of contract, Diadié Samassékou is free to choose his next destination.
