Luka Modric received heartfelt send off during Real Madrid's 2 - 0 victory over Real Sociedad on Saturday marking his final appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Croatian legend was saluted by former teammates Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas while Mateo Kovacic of Manchester City also returned for the occasion.
An unforgettable farewell
Modric who will officially leave Real Madrid after the fifa Club World cup in the U.S, exited through guard of honor formed by both teams.
The club shared touching message on X, saying:
"Ref, don’t blow the final whistle" with photo of the emotional star.
Family & fans share the moment
As he walked off the pitch, Modric embraced his wife & children before greeting each teammate and coach Carlo Ancelotti who's also departing to manage Brazil.
Keylor Navas said:
