Dortmund sets Ramy Bensebaini's transfer price! (Bild)
Borussia Dortmund has set the asking price for their Algerian international defender, Ramy Bensebaïni, ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Several clubs are interested in acquiring the former Académie Athlétic Paradou prospect, including Olympique de Marseille, who are keen to strengthen their squad in preparation for next season's Champions League campaign.
A hefty price tag for a 30-year-old?
According to the German outlet (Bild), the Ruhr club will not let their player go for less than €20 million.
The same source reports that Marseille continue to closely monitor Bensebaïni's situation, with the defender having left Ligue 1 in 2019 to join Borussia Mönchengladbach.
"Despite his notable progress under the guidance of Niko Kovač, Borussia Dortmund could be open to an offer in the region of €20 million," the German media writes.
However, many observers consider this amount high for a 30-year-old defender whose current market value is estimated at around €7 million.
It's worth noting that the Fennecs defender managed to overcome a difficult start to the season at Dortmund. He then established himself as a key figure in the backline during the second half of the campaign, featuring in 43 matches across all competitions, with 3 goals and 7 assists to his name.
