DRC-Mali friendly match in France (official)
The Congolese Football Federation (Fecofa) confirmed on Thursday that the Leopards will play two friendly matches in June, both scheduled in France. Among these fixtures is a tantalizing clash against Mali.
As anticipated in recent days, the Democratic Republic of Congo will lock horns with Mali on June 5 at the Stade de la Source in Orléans. Kick-off for this showdown between the Leopards and the Eagles is set for 6:00 pm GMT.
Three days later, also in Orléans, DR Congo will play a second friendly against Madagascar, this time kicking off at 2:00 pm GMT.
The Leopards gear up for 2026 World Cup qualifiers
These two matches are part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with crucial matchdays fast approaching.
Currently leading their group, DR Congo can dream of a historic World Cup qualification, holding a one-point advantage over Senegal.
Mali, meanwhile, sits fourth in their group and will have to fight hard to stay in contention. As for Madagascar, still in the running for qualification, they will not feature at AFCON 2025.
