Earlier Closing Time for Premier League Transfer Window Announced

The Premier League's officially announced change to this summer’s transfer window timings confirming that both windows will shut earlier than usual.

What’s changing and why?

Instead of the traditional 11PM deadline, this year’s windows will close at 7PM local time , a full 4 hour earlier.

According to PA Media, the move's aimed at helping club officials and PL staff avoid late night working hours making deadline day operations more manageable and "socially convenient"

Confirmed transfer window dates

Short window: 1-10 Jun
Main window: 16 Jun – 1 Sep
- Both will follow the new 7 PM closing time.

The short window was created under FIFA regulations to assist clubs involved in the 2025 fifa Club World cup, set to begin in the USA on 14 Jun.
