Elikya Legros turns pro with AJ Auxerre

AJ Auxerre remains committed to nurturing its young talent. The Burgundy-based club has officially announced the signing of Elikya Legros' first professional contract.

The French-Congolese central defender is now tied to AJA through June 2028. At just 18 years old, Legros has established himself as a key pillar in the U19 defense this season, racking up 29 appearances and providing two assists. He's an elegant player, intelligent in his challenges, and already displays impressive maturity. On the club's official website, Jean-Sébastien Jaurès, director of the youth academy, was full of praise:

Elikya is a central defender with an excellent understanding of the game. He's thoughtful, attentive, and perfectly embodies the club’s values.

Trained at AJA Acadomia, the Rouen native continues his rise in a familiar environment. He now faces the challenge of taking the next step, with the ambition to break into the first team and secure his place there.
