Espérance de Tunis: two friendly matches before the showdown against Sundowns
Espérance de Tunis has begun its preparations ahead of the double clash with South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns.

This exciting African football fixture is part of the quarter-finals of the 2024-2025 CAF Champions League.

To prepare for this encounter, the oldest Tunisian club will play two friendly matches against Avenir Sportif de La Marsa (Friday, March 21) and Club Athlétique Bizertin (Tuesday, March 25).
The Tunisian club aims to give playing time to several players who are gradually recovering after sustaining muscle injuries over the past few weeks.
Espérance aims for a 5th title
Espérance de Tunis seems more determined than ever to claim a 5th title in Africa's premier club competition, following their victories in 1994, 2011, 2018, and 2019.
As a reminder, the blood and gold club reached the final of the last edition, which they lost to Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
