FC Barcelona: Hansi Flick delivers a major rant!

On the eve of FC Barcelona's trip to Athletic Bilbao, Hansi Flick didn't mince his words when addressing one of the season's biggest challenges: the mounting injury list. Facing an especially packed fixture schedule, the German coach acknowledged that managing the squad's physical condition has become a central issue in the fight to stay competitive.

In light of this situation, the Barcelona manager stressed the need to adapt squad rotation and place trust in emerging talents from the youth academy.

"For me, it’s something we have to manage, of course. It’s normal at a time when there are so many matches," he explained,

reminding everyone that La Masia remains a precious resource for keeping the team balanced.

Flick also insists on spreading the workload and giving opportunities to other players to keep the squad fresh.

The former Bayern Munich boss fully accepts responsibility for this delicate management.

"It’s always my responsibility. Not the medical staff or the physios, it’s mine," he stated,

while emphasizing the importance of open communication with his squad. When it comes to managing playing time, especially for prodigies like Lamine Yamal, Flick is crystal clear:

"Managing players and their playing time isn’t easy. I talk to all the players. They know whether they’ll play or not."

This collective approach is designed to keep the squad united right through to the end of the season.
