The Côte d'Ivoire U-17 women's team has kicked off preparations for the opening round of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers. They are set to play a two-legged tie against Sierra Leone, with a coveted spot in the next round up for grabs.

During the upcoming international break from April 10 to 19, the Ivorian girls will be aiming to secure their ticket to the second round of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers.

Under the guidance of head coach Matteo Esposito and his technical staff, the young players have started their training sessions at the Lycée Classique de Cocody pitch.
