Mozambique will play a friendly match against South Africa on June 10 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, during the FIFA international window. This fixture is part of their preparations ahead of upcoming official competitions.

Head coach Chiquinho Condé has called up 22 players for this clash, aiming to assess the depth of his squad and experiment with new tactical combinations.

This match will also be a perfect opportunity to strengthen team cohesion.

A balanced squad with eyes on the future

The selected group features two goalkeepers, eight defenders, five midfielders, and seven forwards. Several regular starters are included, but Condé has also brought in players looking to earn more minutes and prove themselves on the international stage.

Here is the list of called-up players:

  • Goalkeepers: Ernan Siluane, Ivan Urrubal
  • Defenders: Infren Matola, Domingos Macandza, Edson Sitoe, Edmilson Dove, Feliciano Jone, Fernando Chambuco, Francisco Muchanga, Bruno Langa
