Friendlies: Regragui calls up 27 Lions to face Tunisia and Benin!

Walid Regragui, head coach of the Moroccan national team, unveiled this Tuesday, May 27 the list of players selected for the upcoming international window.

The list features five strikers: Youssef En-Nesyri, Ayoub El Kaabi, Soufiane Rahimi, Hamza Igamane, and Maroan Sanadi, the Athletic Bilbao forward, who receives his first-ever call-up after choosing to represent Morocco.

This squad announcement is also notable for the absences of Noussair Mazraoui and Nayef Aguerd, both sidelined by injury, as well as the omission of Hakim Ziyech (Al-Duhail), left out for the second consecutive time.

The Atlas Lions will play two friendly matches at the Grand Stade de Fès: against Tunisia on Friday, June 6, and then versus Benin on Monday, June 9, 2025.
