After their 0-1 loss to Tunisia, the Benin women's national team bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Comoros this Tuesday in a friendly match held at the Manouba Sports Complex in Tunisia.

The Amazons started the game strongly. Just six minutes in, Melhad Sadikou opened the scoring. In the 28th minute, Yolande Ngamy doubled the lead, securing the win for Benin. These two goals were enough to delight the Beninese supporters.

The Comoros team, who hadn't played an official match since April 2025, managed to regain their composure and held off Benin's attacks.
The next fixture for the Cœlacanths' women is set for Thursday, April 16, against Tunisia at the El Kram Stadium in Tunisia.
