From Casablanca to Al Ain, then Al Dhafra: Houcine Rahimi launches his professional career!

After finalizing the transfer of Houcine Rahimi (23), Raja Casablanca's star and this season's top scorer in the Botola Pro, on a five-year deal, Al Ain is considering loaning its new signing to Al Dhafra.

From Botola Pro to the Gulf: Rahimi takes the next step!

According to Moroccan media sources, the Zaeem wants to give Rahimi a chance to take his first steps in the professional world at Al Dhafra, allowing him to gradually adapt to the demands of the UAE league. This loan would also help the player gain valuable experience while staying on the radar of the club's management, who have not ruled out integrating him into the first team if he impresses.

The younger brother of international Soufiane Rahimi, Houcine played a crucial role in Raja's resurgence during the final rounds of the league. Thanks to his performances, the club currently sits fifth in the standings with 48 points.

With the Moroccan U23 national team, the striker played 28 matches this season, netting 11 goals and providing 2 assists, earning him the top scorer title for the 2024-2025 season.

In this context, Lassaad Chabbi, Raja's Tunisian coach, was full of praise for him:

"I never doubted Houcine. I've known him since my early days with the youth teams, alongside his brother Soufiane. I immediately saw an ambitious player, hungry to progress. I'm delighted with his development, especially since I took charge."

Trained at the Raja academy, Houcine Rahimi was loaned twice, first to Rapide Oued Zem and then to Jeunesse Sportive Soualem, before returning to Casablanca last summer. He seized his opportunity following the departures of Yousri Bouzok and Noufel Zarhouni.
