Victor Osimhen

Since May 11, 2025, Galatasaray supporters have launched a social media campaign to convince Victor Osimhen to extend his stay in Turkey.

As rumors swirl about the Nigerian striker’s imminent move to England, Turkish social media has caught fire. On X, Instagram, and Facebook, thousands of the Istanbul club’s fans are posting messages, videos, and montages under the hashtag #StayWithUsOsimhen.

Arriving last summer from Napoli, Osimhen has transformed Galatasaray’s attack. His goal-scoring instinct, physical power, and ability to turn matches on their head have propelled the club to the summit of the Turkish league. The club currently tops the Süper Lig standings with 86 points, just three matches from the end of the season.

Victor Osimhen has set the Süper Lig alight with his talent. In 38 appearances across all competitions, he has scored 33 goals and provided 8 assists. The Super Eagles star has made history at the club, becoming the player with the most goals in a single season for Galatasaray.

This digital campaign comes at a crucial time. Victor Osimhen’s loan is set to end in just a few weeks, with no purchase option included in the original agreement with Napoli. Galatasaray’s management, aware of the fans’ affection for their number 9, are intensifying talks in hopes of reaching an agreement with the Italian club. Will the scale of the supporters’ movement tip the balance and convince Osimhen to extend his stay in Istanbul? Stay tuned…
