Galatasaray President: 'We Can’t Match Saudi Arabia’s €120M Offer for Osimhen'
Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek's revealed that Victor Osimhen has received massive 120 million euro offer from Saudi Arabia , a deal the Turkish giants admit they cannot match.
Saudi Bid Too Strong to Match
Osimhen on loan from Napoli joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2024 on one year deal. With interest growing from Al Hilal & Juventus, the Nigerian striker's now at the centre of major transfer battle just weeks ahead of the FIFA Club World cup.
Speaking to Turkish media on Wednesday, Ozbek made it clear:
"We can compete with European clubs but against Saudi Arabia, it’s impossible"
€120M Over 3 Years on the Table
According to Ozbek, Osimhen's received 3 year offer worth 120 million EURO from the Saudi Pro League. That’s 40 million euro per season , a figure well beyond Galatasaray’s financial capabilities.
Decision Coming Soon
The Galatasaray president confirmed Osimhen's expected to make final decision on his future within 2 week.
Ozbek added:
"He’s had fantastic time with us and knows he won’t find this kind of love anywhere else"
What’s Next?
Galatasaray remain hopeful of permanent deal with Osimhen, who's still under contract with Napoli until Jun 2026. But with elite clubs circling and huge Saudi bid on the table, the next move lies with the player himself.
