"He is one of the best goalkeepers I have seen," a coach from Kaizer Chiefs explains the condition of one of their goalkeepers!
Aubrey Mathibe

The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeping coach Aubrey Mathibe revealed his opinion about one of Amakhosi's reserve goalkeepers who does not get much time with the team.

The goalkeeper that the coach was talking about is Bontle Molefe and he assured that he has a good independent in the coming years when he is rehabilitated from injury again.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper was 16 years old when he made his debut, but until this moment he has not managed to make any special appearance for him as the number one goalkeeper in the Amakhosi.

Sometimes you remember when you’re a goalkeeper, you must be patient. I’ve been there. The good thing is that I’m always talking to him about it. I’ve been at Kaizer Chiefs… I played only two games, I was there, and then I was committed to my job, and then I was doing well because if you are not doing well for Kaizer Chiefs, you know you’re going to leave. So, such a talented player like him. You need to be patient. You need to keep working hard because only God will answer.

Mathibe said.

As a goalkeeper, you’re not like an infield player. Sometimes, you can sit on the bench for two to three years without playing. So, you need to be patient and stay positive, But when you get an opportunity, use it well.

Aubrey Mathibe concluded.
