The eyes of Manchester City have turned towards the young Algerian prodigy, Ibrahim Maza, as a potential replacement for their Belgian star, Kevin De Bruyne, following his decision to leave the Sky Blues at the end of the current 2024-2025 season.

The English club is looking to bolster its squad with new players and build a strong team capable of competing in all competitions, after a season that fell short of expectations.

Manchester City ready to challenge Bayer Leverkusen for Ibrahim Maza!

According to an English report published by “City Extra,” the new Manchester City board, led by Hugo Viana, is closely monitoring the development of the young Algerian talent, considering him a potential future successor to De Bruyne.

The 19-year-old midfielder has shone this season with his exceptional performances for Hertha Berlin in Bundesliga 2, contributing to 12 goals (7 goals and 5 assists), thus attracting the attention of major European clubs and significantly increasing his transfer market value.

Meanwhile, the newspaper Kicker reported that Bayer Leverkusen has reached a preliminary agreement with Hertha Berlin regarding Ibrahim Maza, with both parties finding common ground on several points. The deal is estimated to be worth around 15 million euros, and it is expected that the formalities will be completed and contracts signed during the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, the entry of Manchester City into the fray could change the situation, given its financial power and desire to strengthen its squad with a player of immense potential. Stay tuned..!
