Ibrahim Maza's first words after signing with Leverkusen!

Algerian international midfielder Ibrahim Maza has spoken for the first time following his transfer to Bayer Leverkusen, after the official announcement of his contract signing this Thursday morning, May 1.

Maza signed a contract with Leverkusen, joining from Hertha BSC, a club competing in the German second division, until the summer of 2030.

Bayer Leverkusen's official account on the "X" platform shared photos and videos of Algerian star Ibrahim Maza taken at the club's facilities, accompanied by the caption: "Remember this name."

The Algerian player expressed his delight after signing with the German club, declaring:
"This step is a huge opportunity – a dream come true! I had the chance to develop and progress with Hertha in the second division. Now, I want to prove my worth on the big stage, at a top European club."

He added, at just 20 years old: "I am truly excited to join Bayer 04, with its unique and intimate stadium and the incredible atmosphere. I've been impressed by the team in recent years. Here at Leverkusen, I can keep improving and win trophies – that's what drives me."

In the same context, Simon Rolfes, Bayer Leverkusen's sporting director, praised the player's qualities, stating: "Ibrahim Maza is one of the most promising young forwards at the moment. He's a player who fits us perfectly, seamlessly integrating into our style of play. He possesses outstanding technical skills, is excellent in dribbling, and has remarkable vision that allows him to serve his teammates brilliantly."

It should be noted that, according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, the transfer fee for the young Algerian prodigy to Leverkusen is estimated at €12 million.
