The young Moroccan prodigy Idriss Aït Cheikh has expressed his ambition to one day join Manchester City, a Premier League club renowned for its style of play and nurturing young talents.

Aged 16, the central defender made his mark during the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, where he played a key role in Morocco's historic triumph, defeating Mali in the final on penalties (4-3).

Playing as a central defender at the Chibo Academy, Aït Cheikh is also part of the Moroccan national U17 team. He stands out for his physical prowess, solidity in duels, and his ability to initiate clean plays from the back.

Nicknamed "the product of the Chibo Academy", Aït Cheikh also revealed that he dreams of wearing Manchester City's jersey on the international stage, while remaining a fervent supporter of Wydad Casablanca locally.

It should be noted that Youssef Chibo, the academy director and beIN Sports consultant, recently disclosed Barcelona FC's keen interest in recruiting the young Moroccan defender, considered one of the most promising prospects of his generation.
