Ilaix Moriba permanently transferred to Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Guinean midfielder Ilaix Moriba. The Spanish club made the announcement official via their social media channels.

Initially loaned with a purchase option for the 2024/25 season, Moriba impressed Celta with his performances. The club therefore paid the €6 million requested by Leipzig to activate the clause. Ilaix Moriba has also signed a new contract with Celta Vigo, which runs until 2029.
