Infantino reveals his preference ahead of Inter-Barça: "Everyone already knows!"

The Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan will tonight host a high-profile showdown between Inter Milan and FC Barcelona, as the two giants clash in the second leg of the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League semi-final.

The first leg, played at Montjuïc Stadium, ended in a spectacular draw (3-3), keeping the suspense alive as to who will clinch the first ticket to the grand final.

Infantino takes a stand for Inter Milan

Present this weekend at the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, FIFA president Gianni Infantino made headlines with a statement that certainly didn’t go unnoticed.

Interviewed by an ESPN reporter, the Swiss official didn’t hide his preference when asked about the two semi-finalists: “Everyone knows I’m an Inter supporter… Lautaro? Inter Milan is the team of the Argentinians.”

It’s worth noting that the winner of this Barça-Inter clash will face whoever comes out on top between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal in the final.
