Injured against Rwanda: reassuring news about Mohamed Amine Amoura!

Medical examinations have revealed that the injury to Algerian international striker Mohamed Amine Amoura (25) is not a cause for concern.

The player was forced off the pitch due to injury during the friendly match against Rwanda, which ruled him out of the clash against Sweden scheduled for Tuesday evening.

Injured in a friendly, Amoura to rest for 15 days!

According to Qatari outlet WinWin, citing a source within the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Amoura is suffering from a minor hamstring injury. He will need to observe a rest period of around 15 days before returning to training.

The same source explains that this type of injury is common among players who rely on pace and acceleration, as is the case with Amoura. They added that his condition is nothing to worry about and does not put his career at risk.

The VfL Wolfsburg striker will continue his recovery in Algeria in a calm environment, especially as the injury has occurred at the end of the season, allowing him to recover without pressure.

The absence of the former ES Sétif player adds to a series of withdrawals that have marked this Greens training camp. Himad Abdelli and Kevin Guitoun were excused before the match against Rwanda due to a lack of physical preparation. Youcef Belaïli and Mohamed Amine Tougaï also left the camp after that match, at the request of Espérance de Tunis, to prepare for the FIFA Club World Cup.

It should be noted that Amoura has had a remarkable season, standing out especially during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, netting five goals in his last two official appearances in the Fennecs shirt.
