Is Zamalek really interested in Mance and Hamed?

Persistent rumors are linking Zamalek with Croatian striker Antonio Mance, who is currently under contract with Qatari club Umm Salal.

On this matter, the Btolat website reached out to Armando Mance, the player’s brother and agent, who categorically denied that Antonio’s contract with Umm Salal would end after this season.

“Antonio is still tied to Umm Salal until the end of next season. Zamalek has never contacted us, nor made any official offer,” Armando stated.

He added: “We haven’t received any call or proposal from Zamalek. The player will continue his journey with Umm Salal for at least one more season.”

Meanwhile, Tarek Hamed’s name has resurfaced as his contract with Saudi club Damac approaches its expiration.

Speaking to “MBC Masr 2”, his agent, Moataz Hassan, confirmed there are several offers on the table, emphasizing that Zamalek remains the player’s top priority. However, no official contact has yet been made.

“Tarek has had an excellent season in Saudi Arabia. We have several options, and Zamalek remains his first choice, but as of today, no formal discussions have taken place,” Moataz said.

For its part, Saudi newspaper Al-Weeam, citing sources close to the situation, reports that Damac’s management has decided not to renew Tarek Hamed’s contract. The player is therefore considering a return to Zamalek to finish his career where it all began.
