Issa Kaboré, end of the road at Werder Bremen
Issa Kaboré will not be continuing his journey with Werder Bremen. The German club has officially announced the departure of the Burkinabe full-back, who joined on loan last January, publicly thanking him alongside five other players at the conclusion of the Bundesliga season.
At 23 years old, the Burkina Faso international never really had the chance to make his mark. In nine appearances in the green and white shirt, he managed just one assist—a modest record for a player once considered a rising star, first spotted in West Africa before spells at Manchester City, Troyes, and Marseille.
Trained at Rahimo FC, the native of Bobo-Dioulasso still commands respect with the national team, where he remains a regular starter. The question now is which club he will join next.
