Jayden Adams speaks for the first time about his move to Mamelodi Sundowns!

South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams has been in fine form for the club since his arrival, and surprisingly revealed that he was upset when the deal was finalised and he arrived to wear the Brazilian jersey.

The 23-year-old arrived from Stellenbosch FC to be Mamelodi Sundowns' first signing of the January transfer window, and since arriving at the Sundowns he has made 17 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing two assists.

Why Adams was unhappy when he was told about his move to Sundowns!

The player revealed that he immediately spoke to his family members about the offer from Mamelodi and that his girlfriend was one of the first people to know about the offer.

Sundowns have been looking for me for a while, I spoke to my girlfriend and my child first because they live with me and they’re close to me. Unfortunately, I had to do my job.

The player believed that his move to Gauteng was a good thing for him as he felt that the environment was a great fit for him and his family.
