Juliën Mesbahi… 5 things to know about the new star of the 'Atlas Cubs'

A new gem has joined Morocco's U20 national team, namely Juliën Mesbahi.

Here are 5 things to know about the new jewel of the 'Atlas Cubs':

• Born in the Netherlands in 2006 to a Moroccan father and a Dutch mother, he represented the Dutch youth teams before recently switching his sporting nationality to Moroccan.
• Trained at Twente, he was promoted to the first team in 2023 at the age of 17.
• He played his first professional match this 2024-2025 season, specifically during the encounter against NEC Nijmegen in the first round.
• He exclusively plays in the center of defense, whether on the right or the left.
• He is under contract with Twente until 2026, with his market value estimated at 175,000 euros.
