Junior Diaz set for a loan season at Brest

Junior Diaz is on the verge of joining Stade Brestois for a season-long loan. According to local media, the Ivorian defender from Troyes is expected in Brest this Sunday, July 13, to undergo his medical before signing his contract.

The Ivory Coast U23 international remains one of ESTAC’s breakout stars in Ligue 2. An undisputed starter for the Aubois club, Junior Diaz won over many with his 39 appearances for Troyes across all competitions. Sought after by several Ligue 1 and foreign clubs during this summer transfer window, the 21-year-old defender appears to have made his decision. An agreement has reportedly been reached between ESTAC and Stade Brestois for a one-season loan without a purchase option.
