Junior Olugbade joins Wydad Casablanca

Wydad Casablanca continue to invest in young talent. The Moroccan club have officially announced the arrival of 19-year-old Beninese winger Junior Pamelerin Olugbade, who successfully impressed the coaching staff during his trial.

A trial turned into a permanent transfer

After several days of assessment, Junior Pamelerin Olugbade earned the trust of Wydad’s management. His trial proved convincing enough to secure a permanent move. The Casablanca club are reportedly paying around €50,000 to sign him. The player has signed a four-year contract, confirming Wydad’s intention to include him in a long-term project.

Before moving to Morocco, Junior Olugbade played for ASVO FC. Last season, he made 26 appearances, including 24 starts, registering 2,010 minutes and six goals. His performances also earned him a call-up to the Benin national team. Last June, he was selected by Gernot Rohr for the Cheetahs.

A new challenge at 19

The young winger is now taking another important step in his career with Wydad Casablanca. He will gradually have to adapt to the demands of Moroccan football and make the most of this new experience to continue his development.

Despite his young age, Junior Pamelerin Olugbade already has valuable senior-level experience and showed promising qualities with the Association Sportive de la Vallée de l'Ouémé (ASVO FC). The coming seasons will reveal whether he can fulfil his potential at the highest level of African football.
