Barça want to keep Raphinha in Barcelona during the international break
FC Barcelona are considering contacting the Brazilian Football Confederation to prevent their star Rafael Dias Belloli “Raphinha ” from being called up for the Seleção’s upcoming friendly matches.
Barça seek a solution with Brazil for Raphinha
According to a report by the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, the Catalan club’s move is aimed at keeping him away from the pressure of matches and travel during the international break.
The Brazilian winger is highly important to Hansi Flick’s plans. He has scored a total of 90 goals for FC Barcelona in all competitions, including 15 this season.
However, reports indicate that Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti could call up the player for the November friendlies, which could complicate Barça’s efforts to allow him to rest.
Brazil will face Japan on November 14 before taking on Singapore on the 17th of the same month.
FC Barcelona hope that a potential agreement with the Brazilian national team will allow them to keep Raphinha, particularly because of the club’s concerns about a relapse.
It should be noted that Raphinha continues to lead the La Liga scoring charts with 13 goals, ahead of Kylian Mbappé, who has scored 10.
