The officials deemed the act unacceptable and didn't hesitate to show a straight red card.

This suspension comes at the worst possible moment for the Bianconeri, who still have to face Udinese and Venezia to secure their Champions League spot. Without Kalulu, the coach will be forced to rethink his defensive plans at a crucial stage of the season.
